Brian Pearson with his 1967 BSA Spitfire Make: BSA Model: Spitfire Year: 1967 Country of Origin: England Engine: 650cc Twin Transmission: 4 speed Owner: Brian Pearson City: Dana Point		1967 BSA Spitfire Congratulations to Brian Pearson of Dana Point for winning Bike of the Month with his 1967 BSA Spitfire. Brian has owned the Spitfire for two years. Even though it was fully restored by the previous owner, Brian has made several changes to the bike. BSA Hornet pipes were added for better ground clearance. New Smith gages and and electronic ignition were added along with Hagon shocks. The Spitfire is just part of Brian's collection. He also has a Triumph Thruxton, BMW 1200 GS and a Honda Interceptor. I think that I can safely speak for everyone when I say that we're glad he rode his BSA today. The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
