Congratulations to Jeff Moore of Corona for winning Bike of the Month with his 1953 Moto Guzzi Falconi.
Jeff won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Not only did Jeff ride the possibly oldest bike to the meet today, he rode the farthest.
He came from Corona the long way over the Ortega Highway, to PCH and up to Huntington
Beach overshooting Brookhurst by 4 miles and making his total trip 81 miles.
This was the first big ride for the Moto Guzzi since Jeff got it shaken out. The state
of the bike is as far as Jeff intends to take it. He has only owned it for a short time.
He replaced the tires, chain and a few other parts to get it operational.
Jeff has been in the motorcycle restoration business for 20 years. His shop, www.VintageSalesAndRestorations.com located
in Corona is an award winning BMW restoration shop. Including prize winning at this year's Quail Motorcycle Gathering.
This is the third time a Falconi has won Bike of the Month. Here's the run down:
December 2015 - Bill Perrone - 1960 Moto Guzzi Falconi
April 2015 - Bill Melvin - 1960 Moto Guzzi Falconi
Thank you Jeff for bringing your Falconi out for all of us to see. See all the photos in our December 2023 Gallery.
