Congratulations to Bob Primmer of Corona del Mar for winning Bike of the Month with his 1938 Zundapp K800.
Bob won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Bob has owned the Zundapp for three years. According to Bob, 1938 was the last year of production for the K800.
After that all efforts were put towards the war. After the war Zundapp continued to produce motorcycles into the
1960's, but primarily two-strokes.
Bob and his son Chet have only recently shown up to our meets, in July they took Second Place with
their 1972 Kawasaki H2 750.

This is not the first time we've had a Zudapp win Bike of the Month, it's happened
twice before:
Mike Dunn of Riverside with his 1939 Zundapp KS600 Bike of the Month November 2013
Mike Dunn of Riverside with his 1937 Zundapp KS500 Bike of the Month June 2013
Thank you, Bob for bringing your Zundapp out for all of us to see. See all the photos in our September 2024 Gallery.
