VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Another perfect March afternoon today. We had a great meet with a lot of first time bikes. The Bike of the Month voting was very tight with six bikes taking most of the votes. Our official total was 54 bikes.

Bike of the Month - Casey Moir

Casey Moir of Costa Mesa with his 1970 Honda US90 Trike

Congratulations to Casey Moir of Costa Mesa for winning Bike of the Month with his 1970 Honda US90 Trike.

Casey won the Bike of the Month plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys. www.RussBrown.com.

Casey has only been to our meet a few times. He just recently aquired and restored this Honda. He has only owned it for a month. His cousin had the same trike in 1970 and he rode it on the dunes at Pismo Beach as a kid.

Second Place Tie - Bill Brewer

Bill Brewer of Huntington Beach with his 1970 Yamaha AT1.

Bill won Bike of the Month back in September 2019 with his 1975 Yamaha RD200

Second Place Tie - Ken Brumm

Ken Brumm of Los Alamitos with his 1977 Yamaha RD400.

Ken recently finished the restoration of his RD400 which has a lot of custom bits that he machined.



Honorable Mention - Russ Truex

Russ Truex of Huntington Beach with his 1982 Honda MB5.

Honorable Mention - Bill Herder

Bill Herder of Winchester with his 1970 Harley Davidson 350 Sprint SS. Bill just finished the restoration on his Harley and drove in for the first time to our meet.

Honorable Mention - Darrin Smith
Darrin Smith of Huntington Beach with his 1986 Suzuki GSX1100R. Darrin owns DWS Classics in Huntinton Beach and was involved in the restoration of several bikes here today. Somehow I failed to get a photo of his 1986 GSX1100R.
