A warm summer afternoon in HB today we had a great meet today.
Many first time bikes to show today and the competition was fierce.
The top three bikes only differed by 3 votes although eight showed
favor with the crowd. At the end of the day 57 bikes were in the lot.

As I mentioned before it was a fierce battle for Bike of the Month. These
three bikes took more than half the votes, but were only separated by a couple of votes
overall.
Bike of the Month - Bob Primmer
Bob Primmer of Corona del Mar along with Kitty Brooks with his1941 BMW R12
Congratulations to Bob Primmer of Corona del Mar for winning Bike of the Month
with his 1941 BMW R12. His son Chet rode the bike up from Corona del Mar.
Bob won the Bike of the Month plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.

This is the first time Bob has brought the BMW R12 to our meet. Last month Bob placed
second with his 1972 Kawasaki H2 750.
Second Place - Casey Moir
Casey Moir of Costa Mesa along with Kitty Brooks with his 1969 Honda Z50 (Monkey).
Congratulations to Casey Moir for taking Second Place with his 1969 Honda Z50.
This is the first time Casey has brought the Z50 to our meet.
He has only owned it for a short time, it's the same model he first rode as a kid.
It was restored by George Y. Mr. Mini Trail in Valencia, CA.
Casey has won once before in
March 2024 with his 1970 Honda US90 Trike
He has also placed Second and Third several times, everything he brings is perfection.
Third Place - Doug Rickertsen
Doug Rickertsen of Huntington Beach with his 1975 Honda XR75.

This is the second XR75 Doug has restored and brought to our meet.
He won Bike of the Month in July 2023 with his 1974 XR75.
